Our Newest Shops Worldwide in June

Friday, July 1st, 2016 at 2:00pm Engel Völkers

Engel & Völkers is growing in the U.S. and Canada, and we’re continuing to enter new markets in Europe as well. Here’s the latest.

June proved to be a great month for Engel & Völkers as we increased our European presence, expanding our impeccable service in six new markets across Portugal, France, Spain and Germany.

On the Algarve coast of Portugal, Lagos is one of the world's most popular seaport destinations, famed for its pristine beaches and world-class golf courses, and, here, license partner António Pinto Coelho opened the new Engel & Völkers Lagos.

Engel & Völkers' Yachting division is increasingly expanding its presence on the French Riviera, especially in light of Anissa Mediouni being recently named the new CEO of Engel & Völkers Yachting, and our newest yachting shop in Antibes is the latest addition. The shop is located on Avenue de la Libération, a hotspot in the sailing world, and rubs elbows with Port Vauban, the largest harbor in the Mediterranean.

In Spain, license partner Ignacio Barbero opened the new Engel & Völkers Zaragoza Centro shop where it’s located halfway between Madrid and Barcelona and sits on the Ebro River.

A double portion of success for Spain, license partner Emilio Viñals also opened in a highly coveted area of the country. Engel & Völkers Moraira is in the Spanish village Moraira on the Costa Blanca, surrounded by the Sierra de Bérnia mountain range, vineyards, pine forests and a turquoise sea.

Back to where it all began, license partner Daniela Schneider opened the Engel & Völkers Bremen Neustadt shop in northern Germany where her expertise and competency is already backed by her leadership at two existing shops in Verden and Weyhe in Lower Saxony.

Dating even further back—back to the days of the Roman Imperial period, that is—the modern city of Cologne is now one of Germany’s biggest hubs for carnivals and media HQs, and now home to Engel & Völkers Cologne-City. Florian Gross, who is also Managing Partner of E&V Residential Lizenzholding, opened the new shop that gets right in the thick of it by being situated in the heart of the city of Cologne.
